Product Overview

Peanuts are a nutrient-dense legume widely used as whole nuts, splits, paste, and ingredients. India is the world’s #2 producer after China, with two principal types:

  • Bold (Runner/Spanish type): typically red skin, uniform kernel size, ideal for roasting and salting.
  • Java (Valencia/Virginia type): typically pink skin, rounder kernels, preferred for confectionery and premium snacks.

Raw Peanuts (with skin)

  • Runners: 38/42, 40/50, 50/60 counts/oz
  • Splits: raw with skin (selected sizes)Peanuts (skin removed)
  • Whole: 38/42, 40/50
  • Splits: blanched splits (selected sizes)

Peanuts In-Shell

  • Raw in-shell (screened for size/defects)
  • Roasted & salted in-shell on request

Custom calibrations, oil- or dry-roast profiles, and further processing (granules, diced, paste) available on request.

Typical Specifications

  • Moisture: ≤ 8.0% (raw kernels), ≤ 4.5% (blanched)
  • Foreign Matter: ≤ 0.5%
  • Split/Broken: per grade
  • Aflatoxin: EU/US compliant programs available (e.g., ≤ 4 ppb total upon request)
  • Defects (total): per contract/spec sheet
  • Blanching: dry blanch or water blanch (as specified)

  • Lot-based COA (moisture, size, defects; aflatoxin on request)

Packaging & Shelf Life

  • 25 kg / 50 lb poly-lined paper or woven PP bags
  • 1,000 kg big bags (FIBC) for industrial users
  • Private label packs available on request
  • Shelf life: typically 12 months in cool, dry, odor-free storage (≤ 12% RH; < 20 °C)
  • Ship in sound, clean, dry containers with proper ventilation/liner as needed.

  • Incoterms: FCA, FOB, CFR, CIF (major ports)
  • MOQ: 1 × 20' FCL (mixed grades possible)
  • Documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, phytosanitary & origin certificates; fumigation certificate where required
