Indonesia’s pepper production is concentrated mainly in Sumatra (Lampung) and surrounding islands, supplying global grinding, food manufacturing, and industrial spice markets for decades.

Harvest period: March onward, depending on region and variety.

Available Indonesian Pepper Varieties

Lampung Black Pepper (Piper nigrum)

Lampung black pepper is a small-sized, high-pungency pepper, widely used for grinding and industrial applications.


Commercial grades available:

  • Lampung FAQ 500 g/L
  • Lampung FAQ 550 g/L
  • Lampung ASTA cleaned (apparent bulk density approx. 570–580 g/L)

Typical use: grinding, seasoning blends, food manufacturing.


White Pepper – Muntok

Indonesian White Muntok pepper is known for its clean heat, lighter color, and refined aroma.

  • Bulk density: 600 g/L

Typical use: sauces, soups, processed foods, applications requiring light color.


Long Pepper

A traditional Indonesian spice with a warm, slightly sweet and spicy profile.

  • 1st grade
  • Packed in 50 kg bags

Typical use: specialty food products, spice blends, traditional recipes.


Cubeb Pepper

Cubeb pepper belongs to the Piperaceae family and is cultivated mainly in Java and Sumatra.

  • Distinctive “tail” (stalk) on the berry
  • Resinous aroma with peppery and slightly bitter notes
  • FAQ standard, clean product 

Typical use: spice blends, specialty foods, traditional applications.

  • Cleaning grades from FAQ to ASTA
  • Optional inspection prior to shipment
  • SGS or third-party inspection available upon request

SHIPPING TERMS & PACKAGING

We focus on container-level and contract-volume supply, shipping worldwide under FOB or CFR/CNF terms, primarily from Surabaya (Tanjung Perak Port). Packaging is typically 50 kg bags, unless otherwise agreed. Worldwide export capability.

Fumigation & Compliance

Quality is managed through pre-shipment inspection, with optional third-party verification such as SGS, supported by photographic or video documentation prior to loading. Phytosanitary certification and fumigation are provided in line with destination-country requirements.

  • Advance payment: 40% T/T upon contract signing
  • Balance payment:
    • After inspection and approval
    • Or against shipping documents

Yes. Representative samples can be arranged for qualified buyers once grade, volume, price and destination requirements are confirmed. - However, samples not tied to a confirmed contract may not represent the final shipment lot.
