These pretty pink peppers can we eaten raw or cooked, whole or crushed from seasoning to decorate all kind of dishes of meat, fish, salad, soup and cheese .

What is pink pepper good for? What we do know is that pink peppercorns contain antioxidants and antibacterial essential oils. There is also some evidence to suggest that pink pepper can lower blood sugar and the risk of developing cancers.

Pink peppercorns have a delicate, fragrant, sweet, and spicy flavor. They are reminiscent of a mild citrus zest and sweet berries.  The spice has a heat that is more reminiscent of that of chili peppers than regular peppercorns.

Brazilian pink peppercorns are a delight. They're picked from the pepper tree, native to Brazil, which is actually a cousin of the cashew. Given their delicate nature, pink peppercorns are never ground. Use them whole on fresh fish and in salads.

With their vibrant color and delicately sweet flavor, pink peppercorns are a must-have in your spice cabinet. Consider them your secret weapon for seasoning everything from curry dishes to seafood.

The Pink Peppercorns (Schinus), was founded as a product for trade in 1992.  It was at this time that it was discovered that these trees grew wildly on the whole coastal region of Brazil as part of the Brazilian native vegetation.  The state of Espirito Santo is the largest and first state to export the pink pepper throughout the world.  Pink Peppercorns have a sweet and mild taste, also very aromatic, not pungent like the regular ripe pepper fruits.

The trees grow in the wild.  Our pink pepper is 90% collected from the wild forest alongside the Atlantic ocean, these forest produces hundreds of Pink pepper varieties, this mix varieties end up in a product with unique flavour, we would say, a very natural product from NATURE. The fruit is a small red berry of 4-5 mm in diameter growing in clusters of hundreds of berries. The berry carries a pepper-like taste, with a slight flowery aromatic and sweet taste.

Pink Peppercorns are named after its color and shape, not because of the flavor which is  totally exotic and different from regular peppercorns, which have a red tone, but a much more intensive pungency. Today, Pink Peppercorns are commonly used in cuisines all around the world, and it has become real trendy in all fine food flavors.

Nowadays, the IBAMA (Brazilian  Environment Institution), which is the government’s department that inspects and controls the Pink Peppercorns  (schinus) harvest and only allows formal and legal companies to explore and to deal the product.  All of this is to confirm that the pink pepper is totally natural and our company is already working with basically all the top quality producers.
